TOO DARN HOT!!
Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Westerville Jazz Orchestra concert scheduled for Sunday, June 22 at 6:30 PM at Alum Creek Amphitheater.
The forecasted heat index near 100°F, combined with full sun and direct exposure for our audience, raises serious concerns for everyone’s comfort and health.
We always strive to provide an enjoyable experience for all, and under these conditions, we believe it’s in everyone’s best interest to postpone.
This concert, “Swingin’ on the Stage and Screen” will now be presented at our next full concert at the Alum Creek Amphitheater on Sunday, July 27. We hope you’ll join us for an evening of jazz under (hopefully cooler!) skies.
But you don’t have to wait that long to hear us! We’ll also be performing on Sunday, June 29 as part of Central College Presbyterian Church’s Freedom Celebration, and again on Sunday, July 6 when we team up with the Westerville Concert Band for a patriotic “American Celebration” at the amphitheater.
Three great chances to catch the Westerville Jazz Orchestra this summer — we’d love to see you there!
